Dean's is a family run business with centres in York & Scarborough.
The York centre was opened by Mr. & Mrs. Dean in December 1968. Over
the years this centre has expanded and now covers over five acres in
size. In the early 1990's “The Bothy” coffee shop was opened and proved
a huge success.
The Scarborough centre was opened in 1986 on the site of a former cut
flowers nursery, the Scarborough centre has also expanded since opening
with the addition of a covered sales area & “Gardeners choice” coffee
shop.
In the mid 90's Mr. & Mrs. Dean retired from the day to day running of
the business which was taken over by their 3 children.
We have a small nursery site on which we produce all our own Herbaceous
perennials, vegetable plants, spring & summer bedding plants and a superb
crop of cyclamen in the run up to Christmas.
