Dean's is proud of its roots in the community and we think its important to show our appreciation by supporting local charities. Over the years we have raised tens of thousands of pounds for a range of good causes - including MIND, St. Leonard's Hospice, St. Catherine's Hospice, SNAPPY, Age Concern, RNLI North East, The Stroke Association, Breast Cancer Care, The British Heart Foundation, Martin House Hospice and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, McMillan Nurses and equipment for York District Hospital.
 
Staff and Customers have taken part in dozens of activities from in store events, sponsored runs, Treasure Hunts and "It's a Knockout" events!

For 2012 we have chosen The Alzheimer's Society.
