Greenhouse Any plants being over-wintered in the greenhouse should be inspected on a regular basis for signs of pest or disease. Insulate the greenhouse with bubble wrap to conserve heat. Sterilise old pots and seed trays now for use later in the spring.
Frost Hardy? Protect half hardy plants from the worst of the weather by wrapping them in horticultural fleece or bubble wrap.
Fruit Trees Prune apple and pear trees, cutting out any damaged or diseased branches and reducing all the previous seasons growth to encourage fruiting. |
